Romaco India, the Sales & Service Centre of the Romaco Group, hosted a three-day open house at its Experience Centre in Hyderabad from 9 to 11 July 2026, bringing together experts and pharmaceutical industry professionals for technical discussions and equipment demonstrations. The event featured the Kilian S 710 Prime tablet press and more than 30 demonstrations of the Noack NBL 400 blister line, covering blister packaging and cartoning capabilities.
The Hyderabad center houses a spare parts warehouse, an equipment showroom and a process technology laboratory covering granulation, tableting and coating of solid pharmaceutical products. Beyond the open house, the centre serves as a point of contact for Indian pharmaceutical companies seeking technologies and technical expertise.
The Indian pharmaceutical industry is working to establish and expand its international competitiveness. According to the company, access to global markets requires more than production capacity – expertise, operational capabilities and equipment that meet international standards and are available locally are also necessary factors.

Personal exchanges with experts
The three-day open house featured services ranging from customer training on various technologies to support for the development of new products and the ramp-up of new, locally manufactured format parts. Local format part production for blister packaging machines and cartoners was launched last autumn.
The company reported that 86 senior leaders and operational specialists from 24 pharmaceutical companies took part, representing functions including operations, production, engineering, project management, quality assurance, supply chain, procurement and commercial management.
According to the company, the mix of decision-makers and technical professionals gave the discussions depth, and many visitors arrived with specific production, packaging and project requirements, allowing the Romaco team to address particular challenges and identify solutions on site.
Hands-on technology
Romaco India presented the Kilian S 710 Prime tablet press, which the company said has up to 85 press stations and a maximum output of 1,020,000 tablets per hour. Live demonstrations were also conducted on the Noack NBL 400 blister packaging line, with more than 30 demonstrations over the three days showing the line’s operation in practice. Customers observed machine operation, product flow, format changeover, line integration and performance features.
The company said the NBL 400 blister line has an output of up to 400 blisters and 200 cartons per minute and operates in lengthwise mode across up to five tracks, intended for medium batch sizes. The line consists of a blister machine with rotary sealing and a continuous motion cartoner, and can pack tablets and capsules of various specifications using dedicated feeding or a brush-box feeder. According to the company, the machine is easy to operate and does not require specialized technical knowledge for product or format changes.
Shaping the future, acting locally
