Pinmark Blocks, an Indian flexographic prepress specialist and early adopter of Flexcel NX Technology, has invested in a new Flexcel NX 5080 System from Miraclon to strengthen its platemaking capabilities and add capacity.
The investment is the next step in the company’s continued use of Flexcel NX Technology and allows it to further upgrade its prepress operation. The new system is complemented by Flexcel NX Central 3.0, which is meant to help improve productivity and efficiency in prepress, along with LED exposure technology, said to enhance consistency in plate production.
Ruttul Zaveri of Pinmark Blocks said, “Our experience with Flexcel NX Technology has been an important part of the development of our flexographic prepress capabilities. This latest investment allows us to build on that foundation, adding the capacity we need while upgrading our technology and further improving productivity and consistency. Ultimately, our focus is on helping our customers achieve better and more repeatable results on press.”
According to the company, it works closely with converters to support consistent, high-quality and efficient print production, including applications that have received recognition through industry print awards.
