Paez Packaging installs Domino N610i UV inkjet label press

Paez Packaging, a California-based label and packaging converter, has installed a Domino N610i digital UV inkjet label press, marking the company’s first move into digital printing.

The installation of the Domino N610i represents a significant step for Paez Packaging as it expands its production capabilities beyond conventional printing processes. The company selected the N610i to address growing demand for shorter runs, faster turnaround times, and increased flexibility in label production.

The Domino N610i is a seven-color digital UV inkjet label press designed for high-resolution label printing. The press is engineered to deliver consistent print quality while supporting variable data and versioning requirements. With the addition of the N610i, Paez Packaging is able to complement its existing production technologies with a digital solution aimed at improving efficiency and responsiveness to customer needs.

Luis Paez, CEO of Paez Packaging, said, “The N610i will give us faster turnaround times, reduced setup and make-ready time, and greater flexibility in production.”

According to the company, the investment in digital printing technology allows it to better serve customers requiring quick delivery and multiple SKUs, while also reducing waste associated with traditional setup processes.

“We expect to see more short-run, high-quality jobs, as well as labels that require multiple SKUs, variable data, or unique designs,” said Mario Paez, vice president, Paez Packaging. “This will allow us to serve new types of customers and industries more efficiently,” he said.

The Domino N610i installation is Paez Packaging’s first digital press. By integrating the press into its operations, Paez Packaging aims to enhance its overall manufacturing capabilities while maintaining the quality standards expected by its customers.
