Mumbai-based label printing company JK Labels, led by Karan Kapur, Himanshu Kapur and Rahul Kapur, has installed a Vinsak USAR 530 equipped with a UV inkjet printing system and 16K high-resolution vision inspection camera to strengthen its production capabilities.
JK Labels has a family legacy spanning more than 30 years in the printing industry and specializes in self-adhesive label printing. The company holds certifications including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, FSC, GMP and SEDEX, and has expanded its capabilities into high-compliance labels meeting standards such as EN71 and UL.
The Vinsak USAR 530 combines inline variable data printing and 100% inspection in a single-pass workflow. The UV inkjet system enables the printing of variable data, serialization, barcodes, QR codes and other critical information, a feature the company said is suited to applications where data accuracy and traceability are essential.
The system’s 16K vision inspection camera provides full-web inspection to identify print defects and verify critical information, including barcodes, QR codes, text and variable data. According to the company, this integrated approach allows it to enhance quality control while maintaining production efficiency.
The USAR 530’s modular configuration also provides flexibility to handle a range of substrates, including self-adhesive labels, films and specialty materials, supporting JK Labels’ portfolio of high-compliance label applications.
