Our focus remains on expanding market reach, enabling print businesses to diversify and creating a stronger ecosystem for digital adoption in India.”
At LOUPE India, HP presented a portfolio spanning digital presses, high-value applications and production workflows.
HP Indigo 6K+ digital press
The HP Indigo 6K+ digital press was at the center of the showcase. According to the company, it is powered by the new SmartControlSystem, which supports greater uptime, productivity and automation while maintaining HP Indigo print quality. Hardware and software upgrades are said to improve scaling accuracy, diagnostics and serviceability, helping converters maintain reliable production with less operator intervention.
The press offers broad media compatibility, up to 97% of the color gamut and a range of special inks. It supports applications including pressure-sensitive labels, shrink sleeves, in-mold labels, laminated tubes and folding cartons. Visitors will also saw the enhanced productivity mode in action, which the company said enables up to 33% higher press speed and throughput while helping reduce the cost per job.
HP Indigo V12 digital press
HP also showcased the HP Indigo V12 digital press through a virtual demonstration, offering a look at its LEPx technology and end-to-end press workflow. Designed for mid- to long-run production, the press delivers speeds of up to 120 meters per minute in 6-color mode, according to the company.
With 12 on-press ink stations, automated color management and 1600 dpi print quality, the V12 is intended to help print businesses manage multiple SKUs and a range of high-value label applications.
Applications across labels and packaging
Visitors can also see a range of applications enabled by HP Indigo digital printing technology, including labels, shrink sleeves, in-mold labels, lamitubes, folding cartons, flexible packaging, and security and brand protection solutions. The showcase will highlight premium label effects, consistent print quality and media versatility, demonstrating how converters can explore new applications and support sustainable, on-demand growth.
AI-powered production and connected workflows
HP also demonstrated how AI-powered tools can simplify press and production management. HP Nio v1.2, the latest update to HP’s AI-powered PrintOS, supports all PrintOS languages and offers embedded video guidance and faster, more contextual responses. HP will also highlight the upcoming integration of Nio with HP Site Flow and HP PrintOS Color Beat, extending AI-powered guidance across workflow automation and color management. In addition, a new product creation experience from HP Site Flow will showcase improved production visibility and enhanced reporting capabilities with HP Print Beat.
