Esko will showcase its Quartz ecosystem for digital flexo platemaking at LOUPE India 2026, held from 29 October to 1 November at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida, Delhi NCR. The show gives visitors their first opportunity to see the Esko CDI Quartz operating in a live exhibition environment, with the company presenting its latest advances in flexo platemaking and print quality.
Converters, trade shops and flexo professionals visiting the Esko stand (E8a) can see how the Quartz ecosystem works in flexographic plate production. According to the company, its imaging, screening and exposure technologies simplify plate production while delivering consistent, repeatable results.
“First unveiled at drupa 2024 and now available worldwide, the Esko Quartz ecosystem represents the pinnacle of digital flexo platemaking,” said Jan De Roeck, director of marketing, strategy and industry relations at Esko. “Combining CDI Quartz imaging, optimized Quartz screening and XPS Crystal UV LED exposure, it truly delivers a new level of flexographic plate quality that we are excited to introduce to the region at LOUPE India.”
The technology uses Quartz optical imaging at 4,000 ppi, together with 2,000 lpi Q-Cells that the company said enhance ink transfer and help produce smoother solids, cleaner highlights, deeper shadows and a greater tonal range. The company said this allows flexographic print reproduction with gravure-like quality, while the integrated workflow simplifies the platemaking process.
