At the end of its use, it is designed to break down in industrial composting environments without harming the soil. This was demonstrated through a germination test, where sunflower seeds were planted in compost containing Eco Works 100 resin. The results showed comparable germination rates and seedling growth to the control sample, meeting the standards of ASTM D6400 and indicating low ecotoxicity.
