Since installing its first Komori press, an Enthrone 429, in 2023, New Delhi-based Chawla Printers has continued to invest in Komori machines every year. Last year, the company installed another Enthrone 429. This year, the company has booked a Lithrone GL437. The booking of its third Komori press, a compact sheetfed offset press capable of producing A1-size end products, took place during the recent Printpack India 2025.

Our latest investment in the brand new Lithrone GL437 is for boosting our productivity and print quality to a whole new level. After all, this latest Lithrone model is ideally a high-end press for high-volume production which we are set to do to meet the increasing needs of our clients in the packaging sector.”
Chawla Printers has been providing print solutions to big brands and businesses, across many sectors over the years. The company’s new investment in the Lithrone GL437 will enable it to offer its clients an extended service, encompassing a diverse range of graphic prints and end products. “With our new Lithrone GL437, we are aiming to explore the packaging sector in a bigger way with newer applications,” says Chawla.
He adds, “FMCG and pharmaceutical are two key sectors where we are readying to tap extensively using the all-new Lithrone GL437. We have authenticated the advanced features and capability of this latest Lithrone model, in terms of its productivity, print quality and print sizes. We are looking for ways to unlock further business growth, particularly focusing on the packaging sector, with the prowess of this new Komori press.”
Nevertheless, Lithrone GL437 is robustly designed and engineered to operate at the maximum speeds up to 15,000 sph with inline coater. It can print a maximum sheet size of 640 x 940 mm with thicknesses ranging from 0.04 mm to 0.45 mm to produce A1-size products. Chawla says the arrival of the new Komori press in their production facility will surely boost productivity and add value to their packaging printing and conversion job.
Chawla Printers has a team of 20 regular printing and production staff, which is scalable up to 100 with the hire of an additional 80 staff as needed. The company has been working with major brands like Sony, Sleepwell, Ertay, Bonjour, to name a few, over the years. Geographically, Chawla Printers’ clients are spread across Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Punjab, and the nearby cities and towns in North India.
The next strategic move of Chawla Printers is to position as a one-stop provider of complete packaging solutions in accordance with the demand and desire of every single brand on the company’s client list. “We will surely make it happen sooner rather than later with our new Lithrone GL437,” says Chawla.
