Cartes has completed the installation of the third press dedicated to the production of high-end labels at Albagrafica. The investment enhances Albagrafica’s production capacity, with the aim of increasing quality, flexibility, and speed of execution in response to a market that is increasingly focused on aesthetic performance and premium finishes.
The new installation is a GT368SSSF_HFSR, configured for highly complex premium production, with equipment designed to enhance special processes and embellishments: 4 high-performance screen printing units, 2 flexo units, 1 hot-foil stamping unit, and semi-rotary die-cutting.
This configuration allows Albagrafica to further expand the range of effects and finishes available, supporting production for sectors where the label is a key element of recognition and positioning, such as wine, sparkling wines, spirits, chocolate, and other food products.
The company produces labels with great attention to detail and artisanal care, combining technical expertise and aesthetic sensitivity to create communication tools capable of conveying, within just a few centimeters, the identity and value of the product, the company said.
From consulting and label concept development to graphic design and full production, Albagrafica works across the entire process with an approach also focused on cost saving, seeking efficient solutions without compromising final quality.
Founded in 1960 by Armando Bordino, Albagrafica began as a company specializing in pasta packaging cartons and soon shifted to producing labels for wine, sparkling wines, spirits, chocolate, and other food products.
In 2006, in response to growing volumes, the company moved to its current facility in Guarene (CUNEO), investing in technologies for offset printing of self-adhesive labels on rolls, increasingly requested by the market. Albagrafica serves both national and international customers.
