ALPLA to open plastic bottle plant in North Las Vegas in 2027

ALPLA is opening a plant in North Las Vegas, Nevada, expanding its presence in the western United States. Located within the Craig Road Logistics Center, the 13,000 square meter site is scheduled to begin operations in spring 2027. It will produce plastic bottles for global and domestic customers using the extrusion blow molding process.

According to the company, the new site places ALPLA closer to key customers and provides access to major transportation corridors and regional distribution networks. It is ALPLA’s second manufacturing location in the western United States, and the company stated that the facility will improve its service capabilities and delivery efficiency and support growth across the region.

“This investment represents an important step in ALPLA’s long-term North American growth strategy,” said Tasos Pourloukakis, regional managing director of ALPLA North America. “Our North Las Vegas operation will strengthen our ability to serve customers while giving us the capacity and flexibility to adapt as their needs and the market evolve.”

The North Las Vegas site will serve customers across industries including food and beverage, health and beauty, and home care. It will also provide additional capacity for future partnerships.

“We are strengthening our production network in North America as a system provider of high-quality packaging solutions. At the same time, we are deepening our partnership with our customers and offering new employment opportunities to the North Las Vegas community,” Pourloukakis added.

ALPLA now operates 19 sites in the United States. The North Las Vegas site will create 36 new jobs locally, which the company said reflects its ongoing investment in infrastructure and capacity across the country.
