Gobind K Panjabi, director of Rukson Packaging

Navi Mumbai-based Rukson Packaging, formerly Rukson Offset, is a one-stop packaging convertor now catering to the finest range of end products produced using a fleet of machines and equipment comprising two Komori presses. A brand new Komori Lithrone GL 640+C UV Advance at the company’s production facility has triggered the overall print quality and productivity to a next level, increasingly satisfying their customers and end users to the fullest, like never before.

Gobind K Panjabi, director of Rukson Packaging, says, “We started our business in the year 1996 using a two-color offset press. Since then we have been supplying monocartons to hosts of customers in different sectors. Over the years, we keep expanding our customer base, product range, and machine portfolio.”

He adds, “There are certain challenges in the industry when it comes to maintaining quality in prints and productivity to fulfill what all new demands we constantly receive from our customers and end users. In this respect, we need to regularly enhance our capability with constant adoptions of newer machines or technologies, in which the Komori Lithrone GL 640+C UV is the latest in our facility.”

He continues, “Our facility is fully equipped with arrays of pre-press, press, and post-press machines, but this new and our second KOMORI press stands out among others in terms of its features and capacities. First was a KOMORI LS 32 which we installed around a decade ago. So far so good, we have been impressed and smitten by the KOMORI technology alongside the cost-effectiveness of the two machines we have owned till date.”

On choosing the second Komori press, Panjabi says, “We have chosen the Komori Lithrone GL 640+C UV, especially for met-pet cartons. However, this press is fully packed with advanced features and capacities for various other packaging applications.” In addition to cartons, Rukson Packaging also offers a variety of other products including labels, leaflets, catch covers, and calendars, serving numerous customers in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, FMCG, and the food industry.

According to Panjabi, the quality of prints from Komori Lithrone GL 640+C UV is ideally equivalent to the industry’s leading German presses. “The print quality that we get from the second Komori press is mind-blowing. In addition to quality, the press is highly user-friendly and cost-effective compared to other presses in its class.”
